Fun Saturday!

Sewing room was filled with soaps and bags for a really fun day!
Darlene makes her own fabulous soaps and was looking for something different to put them in.
She came up with these adorable little bags and filled them with pretty soap shavings!  Smells so good!

Here she made a cute wash cloth and tucked one of her all natural soaps inside!   Attached the cutest, tiny clothespin on the outside.

So very pretty, Darlene!

Have you started making your Rag Rug??

You will love this simple technique for making Rag Rugs from all your scraps!  Just tear 2" strips of your stash, attach to the signature tool and begin.  You can start off with a small potholder or mug rug and finish with a beautiful rag rug for your living room, kitchen, bath, etc.
Purchase this book with signature tool in our  Etsy Shop and you will get the chance to meet Ginger...our sweet,  little,  furry, wet nose, adorable, 4 legged, hard of hearing, almost blind, lover of quilts and rugs!

How very nice!  She got an 'A' on her sewing project!  Now, as you can see from the left side of this blog a picture of a darling rag doll.  Yes, this will be the next project around here.  Send many wishes for success, please.  Should prove to be very interesting especially when one of the supplies needed is sand paper!  Good grief!

Sun is peeking through, looks like we might have another beautiful, sunny day.  Must go outside.....
