Hmmmm... looks as if I have been away from my Blog. No excuses, just really busy with orders from the shop. Not sure exactly how many I made, but let me tell you, I made enough stockings to fill the back bed of a large pick up truck! Happy to report the last order left about 2 hours ago and the shop is feeling the tension slowly fading.......Wow! What a month!

We had such a great time and we go back tomorrow to pick up our lopsided bowls...some very short and others very tall. Our group was a bunch of girls from ages 9 to old and we are still yapping about how much fun it was.
Have you made your Rag Rug yet? Had a gal send me note on how happy she was with the pattern. "Finished my first rug and searching for more scraps to start another!" Come on, it's so easy to do and is especially great to work on during the cold months.
Stay tuned...so many new projects in my head. Just need a little time to get them up and running.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
Do I have a plan of some sort? Don't think so...Just going along, thread by thread, tossing a few thoughts here and there.

Got SCRAPS? Time to start thinking about making a couple of these easy Rag Rugs! Turn that pile of old scraps into a wonderful rug that will last forever. I have one on my kitchen floor, a really large one in my sun room (sewing room) one in the bathroom and working on one for the bedroom.
Watching a movie while working on a rag rug just seems like the thing to do around here.
We sold fabric at the Long Beach Quilt Show last year and my daughter made this rug for me with pieces of the fabric left over. My favorite!! It has been in the wash so many times and still looks new.
You can get your instruction book with nice, big pictures and easy to follow instructions at Etsy.com/shop/snipitup
Book comes complete with hand designed, made to last forever, tool. Try it, I know you are going to love making these!

Looking for that special gift for the new arrival? This is Kate's Quilt and it is so easy to make..you can actually finish it in a day. No batting, no special backing, no long arm, just a sweet little quilt that will last forever. The cost is suprisingly low and you will learn the techinque after finishing one row and then, of course, you will be hooked, like I am, and start making them by the truck loads! A snap to make it larger or smaller and if you make a mistake, believe me, it can be corrected with much ease. Our granddaughter, Amanda at age 12, came over one day to sew and had it completed by the following day. .

This should be fun! Working on 'Wanna Be A Big Girl' pinwheels. Always wanted a red and white quilt and hope this is it! Please email me with any thoughts or suggestions with this one. Not sure if its going exactly as planned.
Hope everyone is going outside today for lunch! Gonna be another one of the wonderful, sunny days.

You can make this little door hanger in no time. Made several today one with a flower, a puppy for the little ones dresser and my favorite... a pretty blue one with an old piece of a quilt. Maybe we should post pictures with instructions sometime next week to show how easy and fun these are to make.
